Orange joins Netskope to bring new SSE solution for cloud platform

Orange Business Services, a worldwide network-native digital services provider, Orange Cyberdefense, a renowned cybersecurity service company, and Netskope, an expert in SASE or secure access service edge, have reportedly joined forces to create a new Security Service Edge (SSE) solution, which will be integrated with the Orange Telco Cloud Platform.

As per reports, enterprises will no longer have to choose between performance and security because the improved solution is built to combine maximum security with optimal performance.

Through this partnership, Orange Business Services will be able to provide reliable internet security, both on and off the network by utilizing the security know-how of Orange Cyberdefense, Netskope's worldwide security private cloud presence, as well as SSE leadership.

Enterprise customers will benefit from this as it will safeguard them from data loss and the increasing number of advanced attacks spanning web, cloud, and private apps, with overall attributes of a cloud-native platform.

Using Orange Business Services Telco Cloud Platform, the co-managed system will constantly offer updated cloud security and simplify solutions for enterprises. Telco Cloud Platform is a game changer in the way networks are created, run, and managed for optimum performance. Greater agility and cost-cutting are also possible with the software-defined solution designed for telco applications.

Through the integration of Netskope's POPs (points-of-presence) into the Orange network, this ground-breaking hybrid architecture strengthens the consumer value proposition of Orange, by providing agility and speed while allowing customers to access the power of Netskope Intelligent SSE.

Cloud services, private apps, and websites can also be accessed from any location on any device with the help of Netskope Intelligent SSE. Along with threat prevention, it also offers real-time data and granular visibility.

Sanjay Beri, CEO of Netskope, stated that hybrid work models and cloud transformation have rendered traditional security frameworks ineffective and inefficient. He added that by integrating the market-leading platform into Orange's network, Orange will be able to substantially expand its services to businesses looking to secure data without compromising business productivity.
